Land Rover Defender A1 Winch Front Bumper - 5mm

The A1 Heavy Duty Front Bumper for the Land Rover Defender represents the natural evolution of the first bumper ever developed by MG Off Road.

Building on the original Icona design, we developed a version dedicated to Defenders built for vehicle recovery and the most demanding off-road use, while preserving the same balance of functionality, strength and clean, timeless lines that have made this project one of the defining products of our company.

The main structure is manufactured from 5 mm steel, engineered to withstand years of off-road driving, overland expeditions and demanding adventures. The bumper improves the vehicle's approach angle while providing a solid foundation for winch installation thanks to its 6 mm reinforced winch tray, featuring strengthening ribs and secured to the chassis through six mounting points.

Completing the system is a dedicated steering guard, manufactured from 6 mm high-strength aluminium and specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the bumper, providing continuous protection for the vehicle's steering components and underbody.

The structure has been engineered to absorb part of the energy generated during severe impacts, helping to reduce the loads transmitted to the vehicle's chassis.

Available for both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned Defender models, the bumper mounts directly to the original chassis fixing points and requires no modifications to the vehicle.
