Universal 20L Jerry Can Holder

A full 20-litre jerry can weighs over 20 kg. On a moving 4x4, that weight needs to be held properly: a mount that flexes or works loose at the fixings becomes a problem long before it becomes a hazard.

The MG Off Road jerry can mount is made from S235JR steel with a black paint finish, produced entirely in our own workshop.

Can compatibility

The mount is sized for the standard 20-litre jerry can, the most widely used container for fuel and water in overlanding.

The geometry holds the can on one side and from above, while the opposite side stays open — by design. The can slides in and out sideways, with no need to lift it vertically: a real difference when you are handling over 20 kg in a tight space, with the spare wheel or the rear door restricting movement.

The strap closes the open side and locks the can in place.

Universal hole pattern

The plate is drilled to a universal pattern, allowing two mounting options:

• On the MG Off Road universal spare wheel carrier, for direct integration with our system
• On any MOLLE panel, using the standard hole spacing

The mount is not tied to one configuration: it follows the vehicle as the build changes.

Securing the can

Mounting hardware is included. The securing strap is available as an optional extra and should be selected at checkout if you do not already have one.
